John Capps Gemologist, Owner

John began in the jewelry business when he was 17 years old. John's father, Noah Capps, owned Johnson's Jewelers. After graduating from Mt. Olive College in 1975, John went to California to the GIA School of Gemology and obtained his degree. He has been working as a jeweler for 40+ years and his experience is clear in his work. He considers himself blessed to work with family, especially his wife and two sons.

Lynette Capps, Owner

Lynette began in the jewelry business with her husband, John, after they got married. She began working in accounts payable and sales, and now has worked in various roles at the store for 40+ years. In her spare time she enjoys singing in the church choir, going to the beach with her girlfriends, and spending time with her "grandbabies".

Brandon Capps, Gemologist

Brandon, John and Lynette’s oldest son, decided to join the family business after graduating from UNCW with a degree in business. He later pursued a Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA.

Brandon and his wife, Cindy, reside in Sanford, NC. They have one daughter, Allie Grace, and one son, Levi. They enjoy spending time with their family. On any given day of the week, you can find Cindy and Allie Grace cheering Brandon on at a recreational softball or basketball game.

Loyria Capps, Sales Associate, Engraving Specialist

Loyria started working at Johnson’s Jewelers after attending Mount Olive College. She is Noah's daughter and John's youngest sister. She works full-time and specializes in engraving.

Loyria resides in Fuquay-Varina and loves spending time with her "fur babies", that is, her two dogs.

Cindy Armstrong, Sales Associate

Cindy works part-time at Johnson's Jewelers but grew up in the jewelry business. She is John's sister and Noah's daughter. She specializes in pearls and provides assistance with many aspects of the store.

Cindy and her husband, Jon, reside in Wendell along with their 2 children, Elizabeth and Rachel.

Bradley Capps, Sales Associate

Bradley, John and Lynette’s youngest son, joined the staff at Johnson's Jewelers in 2014.  He is currently working full-time as a Firefighter for the Town of Apex, but you might see him pop in to lend a hand from time to time.

Bradley and his wife Stephanie, along with their son Turner, & daughter Shelby, reside in Raleigh. Stephanie assists with marketing by running our social media account and website.  In their free time they enjoy playing with their dog (Bojangle) and exploring the city.
